Flame Scroll in Bloodlines

Source limit: this entry uses a legacy community Trello board whose maintainers announced that updates have stopped. Its mechanics have not been tested in the current game client. Check the linked cards and in-game requirements before spending resources.

The documented item name is Fire Scroll. This page also answers the search phrase "flame scroll"; it is not evidence of a second scroll item. Its direct source is Lavaroldy, an NPC hidden in Training Grounds. The linked NPC card supplies a quest objective but no exact coordinates.

  1. Find Lavaroldy in Training Grounds and read the quest in the current client. The legacy card does not establish a reproducible waypoint route.
  2. Bring back the Lava Horn belonging to Lavarossa without killing him. The horn item card lists both the Lavarossa loot pool and pickpocket as general sources; the NPC quest explicitly requires the non-kill approach.
  3. Return the horn to Lavaroldy for the Fire Scroll. Verify the current dialogue before spending or consuming another item.

Do not substitute killing Lavarossa for this quest condition just because his loot pool can also contain a horn. No drop rate, minimum level, guaranteed pickpocket chance or dialogue sequence is published in these cards. See pickpocket for that mechanic. The scroll is separate from the Flame Gem weapon infusion described under fire element. Compare the resulting mastery effects on fire jutsu.

Media note: no original in-game capture is available for this entry. Community screenshots remain on the linked source cards rather than being copied here.

Questions people ask

Is the flame scroll the same as the fire scroll?

Yes. The Trello card is the Fire Scroll from Lavaroldy. Searches for flame scroll land on that quest.
